Iceberg Rose
As it was last year, one of the treats of making a June visit to my parents' house was getting to see one of the roses in my garden there in-bloom. This visit, my white Iceberg was just beginning to open. 'Glad I got even these these pictures last Sunday because by Monday the rain had beat down the flowers.

Thank you, jo(e). :)
They say that Iceberg is a great one for prolific blooms all summer.
That is one lovely rose Val. Glad it was in bloom for your when you visited your folks, and that you got pictures before the rain beat them down.
Have a great week ~ FlowerLady
Thank you, Lorraine--and yes, Lisa, this one and the pink New Dawn I bought for the garden around the same time both bloom a lot for me. I highly recommend both. I was a new gardener when I got them, and they were such easy and satisfying roses.
New Dawn! Yes, in my comment, I almost said that Iceberg and New Dawn were supposed to be prolific bloomers. And you are confirming that - thanks!
New Dawn was the most successful rose in my garden--big blooms, bloomed a lot, climbed all over the place (up onto my parents' shed and along their fence), gorgeous pale pink. . . .Just thorny, and the petals blew fairly quickly, it seemed.
