So good to read your posts! I'm glad you are feeling better and that you had a nice holiday despite all the roadblocks. We watch Scrooged every year and get a kick out of the fairy, hehehe :)
I hope your mom is ok... I'm here if you need to talk... sending a little prayer and hug for you darling.
So good to read that you are back walking, you look FANTASTIC. Interesting to read your insight on the emotional side of it. I admire your determination and strength, I need some of that right now! :)
Oh meant to answer your question about my "colors" on flickr... I still love the adorable and sweet colorful pallette you love, but have always had a thing for neutrals. Totally opposite of my mom's decorating, I did get the love for decorating, as you did, from my mom though. On the rare occassion that she would take me shopping as a teenager( she made most of my clothes) , she would get a little frustrated, she was always picking out colorful outfits for me, florals and such and I always gravitated towards the beiges and blacks. I even had her make me an ecru lace dress when I was 15, lol! I was the odd duck at school for sure, hehehe :)
Anyhoo, I hope you are having a great weekend! Thank you for sharing your world sweet girl!!
Hi, Madai. :) Thank you as always for all the kind words. :)
This was the first time I'd seen Scrogged. Mike has watched it every Christmas Eve for years, though, just like my family watches Emmett Otter every Christmas Eve, so I think it'll become part of our Christmas traditions together just like Emmett has. :) I read on imdb that Carol Kane actually ripped Bill Murray's lip when she grabbed it in that scene, so it delayed filming. Eek! :)
Thank you about my mom. She has a minor surgery this week, and we're hoping that will be the end of the problems. Prayers and hugs are always welcome, so thank you. :)
And that's funny about young Madai in her ecru frock. I can picture it, though, and I'm sure you were unique and lovely. :)
