A Spider-Man Birthday

One of my favorites of all the cakes I've made, Mike's Spider-Man strawberry-topped birthday cheesecake yesterday turned out exactly the way I'd imagined it.  ♥  

The eyes were melted white chocolate chips outlined with food coloring gel.  The little cake topper was a silly find for Mike from my mom years ago.  

A trip to Target had replenished my stash of Spider-Man gift wrap, and Stuffed even roused himself from his nap on the floor in time for pictures.  ♥

'A loving start to "37" for Mr. Mike, leftover cheesecake for dessert tonight, and a sweet way to wrap up this July.  ♥
