January Hearts

It is 13° outside and feels like -4°, according to the weather reports, but I forced myself out for a short walk this afternoon anyway.  I'm sure it did me good, but the wind is beastly, and by the time I returned home, I felt like a cartoon character in need of an anvil-hit to thaw myself.  It was freezing here last year at this time, too, though, and there is an odd comfort in seeing that.  Here we are again, one week into January.

Exactly, Balisha. I take them as nods from God, and I look for them every day.

I hope you're feeling better. ♥

Already three! You're averaging one every other day, almost.

These were all from today's walk, Lisa! I should try to do one, at least, a day sometime. Maybe next month. :) Goodness knows I come across them often enough.

What unexpected pleasures to find hearts! Our wind is fierce here, too. Not as cold as you, though our low is to be in the single digits overnight. Schools are delayed two hours in the morning! Keep warm! xo

Such fun hearts! And you are very brave to venture out in such cold weather. I hope you felt great after warming back up!

Love,
Lily

We are at 1 degree today, but have had a surprising (and disappointing) lack of snow. Still, good on you for getting outside despite the cold!!
