Home Sweet Apartment

I look around our new apartment and see chairs I want to re-cover, furniture I plan to paint, curtains I need to make, and lists of projects that are waiting for my days off and paydays. Stuffed sees a place to relax and call home. Stuffed's outlook is worth remembering. He, the "other" Man of the House, and I are all quite happy here, and I'm so grateful. It is important to love your home, and it had been awhile since we'd loved our last place. This little apartment already feels like home to us, and that is a sweet, sweet thing.

Love is a very important ingredient in making a house/apt. into a home. You have that ingredient, all the rest will happen in time.

Love and hugs to you Val.

P.S. I hope your Mom is feeling much better.

Thank you, FlowerLady! :) Mom still has anemia and tremors/shakiness, but it sounds like the prescription helped with the rest of the Lyme symptoms. I have to call her tonight to find out more. She and my dad both had doctor appointments yesterday.

Thank you again. :)

Wow - I never saw a cat look so limp! He is relaxed! Everything looks very homey, Val! I'm glad you're happy there.

Oh that is nice.... There is no place like home!! I like to make our house a place where all our visitors, friends and family feel like they are in a Oasis, a place where they can rest from the every day troubles.

It is so good to get home and find your favorite corner and just relax and enjoy your home. That is happiness. ;)

Awesome what you've done with the apartment. Sorry I haven't been on nere much. Too many irons in the fire, but I do try to keep up with you and everyone.

Take care, big blogger buddy hugs, and always remember how insanely jealous I am of you! =-)

I agree, Mandy. I was never a cat person and had never had one or lived with one before Stuffed, and I can no longer imagine not sharing my home with a cat. :)
