The Best-Laid Plans

Stubborn Val couldn't wait for help moving the shelves Friday night and ended up trying only to pull a muscle in her left shoulder.  See Val scream!  See Val unable to dress herself or pull up her hair or sleep on her favorite side!  See Val have to change her work-schedule!  See Val buy Tylenol and ice-packs and pain-relief cream!  See Val have to wait to assemble her bookshelves!  And now, see Val unable to do Halloween baking and settle for a slice of store-bought pumpkin roll!  But look, Val!  There is a heart!  See the heart!  Learn and rest, Val!  Learn and rest!

So sorry to hear about Val's misadventures! Ouch! I know the feeling...and the impatience that led to Val's mishap...wish I could help...diana

Oh no!! ouch!! poor Val :( been there/done that, i recently injured my left knee doing something i thought i could do....but shouldn't have done-now i can't "squat" or bend that knee very much. :/ i never realized how many things i do throughout the day that required such a simple movement. Advil, Bengay, and time required to heal. These are the little speed bumps and potholes we encounter as we navigate our journey aren't they? Rest that shoulder and be good to yourself, wishing you a speedy recovery Val <3

This is a very sad story for Val. Hope a better one comes her way soon =)

Thank you all. That'll teach me. :) My shoulder's much better, I just still can't sleep on that side very long. I'm glad I didn't do any real harm to it. One of these days, I'll get the shelves together.
